I'm sure you're clutching your pearls and think I'm delusional, which in most cases I am, but my reasoning behind this bold statement reflects a 36-year-old me. How we connect with music is more a timestamp rather than if the music is good or not.
I am a Beyonce fan until the wheels fall off. Destiny's Child was my first concert experience ever. Just because I choose one over the other doesn't downplay or disregard Beyonce's work.
To simplify it, Renaissance is the club I hope to be a part of one day, and Age of Pleasure is who I am and who I WANT to be in today.
